Using Blogs in the Classroom
I have created a blog entitled Blogable, where I have incorporated my views on using technology in the classroom. At this blog, I have tested a few techniques and aspects of technology and how they may be used. I hope to utilize a blog as an interactive tool for students to interract with their peers and teacher, as well as a site for parents to be involved in the class work of their children. Currently, this blog is used to demonstrate my learning and communicate with others my ideas for Master of Arts in Educational Technology.
As is the case with most technological sources, this is a work in process, and is always changing.

Using Blogs as a Resource - Literacy and Math
These two blogs have been used in my TE 402 courses to allow my classmates and myself to collaborate and digest the readings relating to Literacy and Math. They have been great assets to aiding my understanding. These demonstrate that blogs can be very communicative between various parties, rather than just a journaling style site for collecting resources.
Family Blogging
Christmas 2010, my family utilized a Blog for Christmas lists that I created and ran throughout the holiday season. Although this is not education related, it is a demonstration that Blogs may serve a variety of purposes and communicating between various parties is a great way to incorporate them into the classroom environment.
(Christmas 2011, we used DropBox to upload each Christmas list to be able to edit and save them with everyone gaining access to the lists.)
